Q2 Global Strategy: Iran, Korea, China & Russia Hold the Key

4 April 2018

Enjoy the podcast in which I review how well our 2018 strategic themes are playing out, and take a look athe the rest of the year. Inflation, populism, and protectionism were the key Q1 market drivers, even as the US tax reform boosted American corporate earnings significantly.

Personnel changes at the White House and in the Trump cabinet point to a more agressive trade and foreign policy.  This will be especially important as tough decisions will need to be taken regarding Iran, China, Russia, and North Korea in the coming months.  And, don’t forget the November US mid-term elections, not to mention Brazil and Mexico!

The 2018 Strategy report “Aging Rally or More to Play For” is still available on the  blog’s homepage, and is still worth pondering.  Good luck!  Don’t forget to “like”, “share”, and comment!  (this podcast can be found under the blog’s multi-media tab).
